Shawn & Alison have both been in ministry most of their lives. Shawn surrendered to ministry in 1984 at the age of 14 and has been preaching, leading worship, and singing ever since. Alison surrendered her life to ministry in 1987 at the age of 17 and since then has served in Ladies' Ministries, Speaking, Youth Ministry, Children's Choirs and more.
        Both Shawn and Alison have a heart for missions and are hoping to develop Crane Music Ministries into a "Musicianary" ministry. It is their heart to serve missionaries by helping them develop indigenous music ministries, provide for the music needs of the mission works, and be a support system for the missionaries especially as it pertains to music.
        Shawn and Alison both have a calling to the local church ministry, and are currently serving God through Spring Creek Baptist Church in Benton, Arkansas.
         Shawn came to know Christ as personal Savior at the age of 5. Having been raised in a church with dedicated children's ministry workers and having had a great Christian family, Shawn had heard the Gospel from the day he was born. Shawn accepted Christ as Savior shortly after discussing the subject with his parents.
        Alison accepted Christ as her Savior at the age of 7. She, too, was raised in a great church who loved their children and took the time to make sure they knew of God's love. She also had a loving Christian family who cared about her relationship with Christ. Alison accepted Christ during a visit with her Pastor after coming to him for counsel.
